Travel to your hotel.
Day Two – The Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel, Stirling Castle
This morning we visit The Kelpies (mythical water horses). Photographs can only hint at how magnificent these 30-metre high sculptures actually are. Close by is the Falkirk Wheel, the world’s only rotating boat lift. We take a boat trip, with commentary, to experience this engineering marvel. In the afternoon we visit Stirling Castle, Scotland’s ‘Royal’ castle. An audio-guided tour is followed by free time.
Day Three – Forth Road Bridge and Edinburgh
We see the spectacular Forth Road Bridge to Edinburgh where a local guide will take us on a walking tour that explores the Royal Mile and includes entrance into Edinburgh Castle. In the afternoon there’s free time to explore the Old Town, or perhaps indulge in some retail therapy along Princes Street.
Day Four – Trossachs, Loch Lomond cruise, Glengoyne Distillery
Our route today takes us into the beautiful Trossachs for a relaxing cruise on picturesque Loch Lomond. In the afternoon we visit the Glengoyne Distillery for a tour and tasting of the famous single malt whisky. In the evening, enjoy a night of Scottish entertainment. A fitting end to your Scotland experience.
