Day 1 – Begin your journey to Ireland
Make your way to Holyhead in time for your afternoon Ferry to Dublin. Upon arrival in Dublin, you will make your way to your hotel, the Summerhill House Hotel, in time for dinner.
Day 2 – Travel through beautiful Blessington, Glendalough and The Wicklow Mountains
Today explore beautiful County Wicklow. Ireland. After breakfast set off to your next hotel, The Talbot Hotel Wexford. Pass through Blessington enjoying the beautiful scenery of rolling mountains and waterfalls, stopping at Glendalough for a spot of lunch (not included), before making your way to your hotel to relax before dinner.
Day 3 – Kilkenny Castle & Wexford
Enjoy time in the medieval city of Kilkenny, where you will visit Kilkenny castle and discover Ros Tapestry, 15 huge embroidered panels created by locals. In the afternoon visit the town of Wexford, known for its rich history, and diverse cultural experiences.
Day 4 – New Ross & Waterford
Make your way to New Ross to visit The Dunbrody Famine ship, an authentic reproduction of the ‘Dunbrody’, an 1840s emigrant vessel providing a unique insight into the bravery and fortitude of the Irish people during the great famine. In the afternoon enjoy free time in the beautiful town of Waterford.
Day 5 – Dublin
After Breakfast, make your way to Dublin, pick up your tour guide and take in a 2-hour tour of Dublin city, on board your own coach. Enjoy free time in Dublin before you head to The Rochestown Lodge hotel, just on the outskirts of Dublin in time to relax before dinner.
Day 6 – Head home
After an early breakfast, head to the ferry to begin your journey home.
